There could come a point in the life of a leader when they feel a need to connect to a bigger, nobler aim. We are doing well but want to do so much better, we want to do great things!
Maybe we realize that something from the past has been keeping us from stepping fully into our true purpose.
Do you sometimes feel dissatisfied, that there must be something “more”? Questions like, “Who am I? What am I meant to do with my life?” may seem too big to answer. But these questions do have answers, specific ones, and they are different for each person. You are unique, and you have a purpose.
Unfortunately, most people have “forgotten” this fundamental knowledge of themselves. In the absence of purpose, life becomes a meandering path of trial and error, joy and frustration. We lose touch with the part of us that knows, and deep fulfillment and joy come only in moments. Since this knowledge is buried deep within you, it can be discovered and retrieved. There is no point in going out into the world seeking your purpose; it is inside of you. Once you find it, you can use this knowledge to create a life of joy, fulfillment, and success. You are better at doing your purpose than you are at anything else!
What Is a Purpose?
As we use the term, a “purpose” is the “why” of a leader’s life. It is the meaning that underlies all of your activities. It answers the most fundamental questions, like:
Why am I here? Who am I meant to be? What am I meant to do?
These questions are often treated as imponderables, questions that defy answering. This is not so. For each person, these questions have a unique and specific answer. Knowing the answers to these questions can guide you to a life of vision, meaning, productivity, and success. Leaders who are clear about their purpose easily inspire others. They transform organizations and bring out the best in their subordinates. They lead people towards a compelling vision, creating extraordinary results along the way.
Finding your purpose is a journey of transformation. I am your guide through this transformative journey.
The core of my coaching process is based on True Purpose® developed by Tim Kelley and the True Purpose® Institute. I also draw from 25 years of entrepreneurship, which helps me relate directly to the pressures and needs you face as a conscious leader and changemaker.
The True Purpose® process reinforces a mindset of lifelong learning. It comprises five distinct stages that have been road tested with more than 2,000 coaches over 10 years of development.
Ego Engagement - Get in touch with your ego. Learn its essential role in your life and how it can help you learn your purpose. You will be equipped with tools that can constructively impact your life far beyond purpose coaching.
Ego Permission - Before continuing this journey, it’s critical to train your ego to be a coach in your life through direct dialog. We’ll identify and retrain the parts of your psyche that may be preventing you from accessing your purpose or sabotaging your life in unknown ways.
Connection & Inquiry - The magic of True Purpose® comes from your connection to a Trusted Source of wisdom that already knows your purpose. We call this direct access, which distinguishes this approach from most others that use indirect access methods such as interviews and historical evidence. I will adapt to your belief system, from your God to your gut.
Purpose Interpretation - Once you’ve received enough purpose information from your Trusted Source, we need to make sense of it by sorting this information into categories and writing powerful detailed purpose statements that are meaningful to you.
Purpose Manifestation - I’ll help you write a strategic plan to provide an accountable framework for living your purpose. This is where you’ll design a specific partnership with your ego to live purposefully.
